Hi Claudia,
it will work better than the original one.

Your site says that the chainrings are optimized for 9-10 speed.
Will they fit well into
sram xx1 ?
Thanks again
Claudia

Hi Claudia,
thanks for your interest.
Indeed our chainrigs have different chainline in different sizes.
Optimum or close to optimum chainline is around 45mm - it's in the middleof
the cassette +/-. Having such chainline you won't be dealing with chain
skewness and will have smoother shifting.
Different chainline is achieved by applying different offset to the
chainring. According to our calculations the 30T GXP spiderless chainring
will have 47,7mm chainline with 8,8mm of its offset.
SRAM simply made all their chainrings with one chainline, this is more
profitable, I guess.
Regards,
Alex

Hi
I am writing from italy .
I would like to have some infos about the melon chainring.
You know that sram xx1 crankset with spider is built around a 500 mm
chainline for all chainring sizes.
I have noticed that your melon chainring, instead , has a different
chainline for each size.
In paricular, i would be interested in the 30 t, which has a chainline of
about 48 mm. Please could you explain why this smaller chainline?
