NukeProof passed along some information on a new downhill bike they’ve been working on in cooperation between Shedfire, Alumate in Taiwan, Adrian Ward (who helped design PRST-1 for Marin), and a couple of other people.
Details so far
* 9.5″ x 3″ shock
* 83mm bb shell
* 150mm rear end
* shock actuation is pulled instead of pushed
* 1.5″ headtube

9.5" x 3" è l'ammo, ma ho paura che la corsa sia dei soliti miseri 200 millimetri...

..hai sicuramente ragione..ho letto l'interasse...ma cmq fossero 200, non sarebbero mica pochi!
9,5" sono 241mm quindi come risposta giusta confermerei che sia l'ammo ... il che vuole dire , che se come supponete voi avrà 200 mm di escursione , il telaio disporrà di un rapporto di leva di circa 2,7 a 1 (altissimo) ... che renderebbe sensibilissima la sospensione e le tarature sarebbero molto più influenti!
Se così fosse il gradimento che ho verso questa bici aumenterebbe ulteriormente

esatto colpa di quel picio di bryn:
Out for a run. Bryn Atkinson learned an important lesson about checking bolt tension before a race run as his rear wheel came loose on his seeding run. After staying awake all night trying to fix up the now-twisted rear end, Bryn was able to salvage his new Transition and the next day his bike was like new - an amazing bit of work by all involved for sure. Bryn came in 2nd and soon heads back overseas for another year of racing.
tra l'altro a ben vedere dalla foto pare che si sia preso parecchia paura tanto da smarmottare nei pantaloni..
e anche Jill ha fatto II°
