A proposito, sei sicuro che tramite basecamp si possa inviare le mappe? Quali sono i comandi?
..allora cominciamo..collega il garmin al pc...vai su risorse del compiuter e oltre al classico disco C e masterizzatore dovrebbe comparirti il garmin se ci clicchi sopra compaiono tutte le sue cartelle e una memoria di massa di norma viene chiamata J ma non è detto sia così, che sarà vuota se vuoi puoi anche formattarla...non formattare il 62s però e se vuoi un consiglio creati una copia di tutto il suo contenuto...cliccaci sopra e crea la cartella garmin con all'interno queste cartelle:
...ti torneranno utili in un futuro dopo attento studio del giocattolino e comunque la cartella garmin è fondamentale

...ora apri basecamp tenendo sempre collegato il 62s e ti comparirà una schermata di questo tipo
...ora se ti poni o sopra alla cartella del 62s o sopra alla cartella della msd col tasto dx ti si apre quel menù..
..ci poniamo sulla msd e installiamo la mappa e confermiamo il comando installa mappe su scheda di memoria (J) o a scelta sulla emmoria intrena....si apre un nuovo software che si chiama mapinstall
...scegliamo avanti
...mapinstall si e avanti ancora
...nella pagina che si apre in basso possiamo scegliere la mappa che vogliamo installare con la classica finestra a scorrimento e scegliamo openmtbmap_italy_data e con lo zomm vediamo di visualizzarla per intero
...tasto sx del topolino e selezioniamo tutti i quadrati della mappa che diverrà rosa......ci verrà mostrato lo spazio che andra ad occupare
...clicchiamo avanti in questo modo carichiamo la sola mappa scelta
...clicchiamo su fine e il software inizia la compilazione e l'invio della mappa al 62s o a qualsiasi garmin...la procedura è identica per tutti...
...alla comparsa della finestra trasferimento completato il programma si chiude e la nostra mappa è stata inviata sulla scheda di memoria
...andiamo su risorse del compiuter..clicchiamo sulla memoria J e apriamo la cartella garmin all'interno troveremo un nuovo file gmapsupp.img che contiene la mappa inviata...ora se installiamo una mappa che non verrà più modificata posiamo rinominare detto file con un nome a piacere pinco pallo.img o un nome a tuo piacere

Io questa schermata non ricordo di averla mai vista....
...vai direttamente sul sito e scarica l'eseguibile...o-o..da me si apre la finestra (0% Extracting Garmin web update) ma il download non parte

Comunque, se usi Chrome evidenzia la riga del link e poi clicca con il tasto destro del mouse, seleziona "Vai alla pagina...." e dovrebbe partire automaticamente il download.
