mi ricordi le voci del menu per disabilitare la funzione sugli E605/705 ed E800?
Adesso non ho più un 800 perciò non mi ricordo esattamente la voce del menù. Però mi ricordo di aver visto in un post del forum Garmin americano una foto che confrontava l'800 e l'810 proprio su questo tema. Adesso provo a ritrovarla.
Magari qualcuno con l'800 può postare uno screenshot dove si vede l'opzione che disattiva la navigazione con indicazione di svolta.
Ho dato un'occhiata al Forum di Garmin ma non riesco più a trovare quel bel post che metteva a confronto le due schermate dell'800 e 810.
Ci sono una marea di post di lamentele riguardo questo problema. Un paio di esempi qui:

Per l'800 l'opzione si trova nei settaggi della singola corsa e di default l'opzione è disattivata.
Courses -> <specific route> -> Settings, I can see an option called "Turn Guidance" which is set to off.
Se si fa la stessa cosa con l'810 (e con il 1000) questa opzione non c'è più.
qualcuno ha suggerito:
"Go to activities, navigatiion, by default is cycling..... Choose straight line....it works "
OPPURE
"If you don't need "Off Course" warnings you can go to the corresponding course Settings->Map display->Always->"on" and set a color.
Don't hit "Ride" but just leave the course menu.
The course will always be displayed on the map.
If you want "Off Course" warnings, try the following:
- In Activity Profiles -> Navigation -> Routing set Recalculate to "Off"
- In Activity Profiles -> Navigation -> Map -> Map Information disable all routeable maps (out of the box "Garmin Cycle Map" is the only routable map)
- Start the course
- Go to Activity Profiles -> Navigation -> Map -> Map Information and enable the Map you need.
I only did a dry run for this, but so far it seems to work.

Se poi vedi le risposte ti accorgi che non ha funzionato.
Ci sono dei modi per aver la traccia evindeziata in fucsia, ma con tutti quei trucchetti poi non funziona più il VP e nemmeno i punti corsa. La corsa è evidenziata, ma tutte le sue funzioni per cui è pensata non ci sono più. A quel punto basterebbe attivare la traccia sul display con un colore.
Ci poi sono quelli che dicono di caricare la corsa, poi mettere il GPS in modalità demo, e poi riattivare il GPS togliendo tutte le mappe, ecc.
Comunque non funziona mai bene e mi sembra assurdo dover fare tutte queste cose complicatissime quando basterebbe un bel "disattiva funzione".
Provate un po si "cosette" ma in effetti l'unico modo di seguire una traccia senza indicazioni di svolta, è quella di attivare la funzione VISUALIZZA MAPPA = VISUALIZZA SEMPRE e NON attivare la CORSA. Chiaramente tutte le funzioni evolute non sono utilizzabili. CHE PALLE!!!

Ho trovato questo commento, che riassume un po' la frustrazione di quelli che sono passati all'810/1000.

If you compare the manuals than you see the same terminology and same field names, the user expects to get the same thing. But the functionality is completely different. The features they now have in the 810 are features that belong in the "Touring" devices. There is a virtual partner screen which is a complete joke, if it was a static picture the usability was the same. They have settings for bike and activity profiles which simply do not work and/or cannot be saved properly. Garmin may develop anything they want, thats up to them. But don't try too fool the users and pretend that is does things which actually don't work and in my mind the developers don't even have a clue how it should work.
The 800 was probably the last of the Garmin devices usable for the competitive cyclist.
Using the 705 and 800 I could create a course for a Cyclosportive, plan my pace, enter the mountain tops and other critical points. I would know wether I was ahead of schedule or behind, see how long a steep part of a climb would last, know how much time I would need to ride until I could refill my water bottles and more. All of this is gone with these new and *Improved* models.
The Bluetooth connectivity is a nice to have but it coma at the cost of loosing the functionality that really matters. I will buy a new 800 because I need to bring my smartphone anyway so actually I got more connectivity than I ever need on the bike."

Oggi uscita di 4 ore. Tutti i sensori attivati. Telefono sempre connesso. Alla fine la batteria era al 70%.

Ho sperimentato solo ieri ed oggi, GPS + GLONASS a me non va, se ottengo il fix selezionando GPS, al momento che seleziono GPS + GLONASS mi perde il fix e non lo riprende più. Ho anche resettato l'Edge, prima soft e poi hard ma nulla da fare, il fix lo ottengo solo con GPS.

Niente da fare, sabato in 6 ore e un raggio di 30Km non è stato possibile ottenere il fix con GPS + GLONASS, anche domenica nulla, oggi testato in auto in zone diverse di Torino ma niente da fare.
Vorrei conferme da qualcuno che funzioni realmente, meglio se della mia zona, perchè se così fosse significa che il mio è da gettare....

dalle Recensioni su PlayStore sembra che vada sempre in crash. Non so se convenga aggiornarla....

il mio, da quando l'ho acquistato, è settato in "GPS+GLONASS". Funziona benissimo ed aggancia i satelliti in un attimo.
ps: come hai fatto ad ottenere la schemata del tuo precedente post?
