ho ricevuto una mail questa mattina da parte di crc
stanno indagando per cercare la falla ma di preciso non sanno ancora nulla
gli ordini interessati al problema sono quelli tra la fine di febbraio e prima settimana di marzo nella percentuale del 0,1%
sembra che i dati trafugati siano solo parziali tanto che i gestori delle carte di credito sono riusciti a bloccare tentativi di frode
per sicurezza CRC consiglia di utilizzare pagamenti tramiti PAYPAL ,almeno fino a quando non avranno trovato la falla

mi pare che siamo già in parecchi su questo forum ad aver subito furti dalla carta di credito. Lo 0,1% mi pare un pò ottimistico!
beh, meno rischi di sicuro, ma non zero spese.
Il tasso di cambio valuta di PayPal è sempre diverso (leggi=maggiore) di quello di CRC, e mi sono sempre trovato a pagare 3/6/8 euro in più (ovviamente dipende dal totale...)
Certo è che a fronte di questa piccola maggiorazione i vantaggi sono notevoli, non ultimo il motivo di questo 3d.

What do we know?
We know that some of our customers have experienced credit card fraud after placing an order with CRC.
When did we find out?
Senior staff in CRC where alerted to forum comments on Sunday 6th of March. We immediately began our investigations enabling to release information via community forums on Wednesday the 9th, acknowledging that we were actively investigating the situation.
How big is the problem?
So far, we have been contacted by customers who purchased in February and the beginning of March. The contacts we have had both directly and via forums equates to under 0.1% of on-line orders placed in that same time period. However, we understand that for those affected this is of great concern and as we take our customer's security extremely seriously we are taking all the steps we can to understand what has happened.
What steps have we taken?
CRC have employed one of the UK’s leading internet security companies to carry out an immediate and full forensic investigation into CRC’s infrastructure. This investigation has so far uncovered no evidence of any breach. We are also fully engaged with our card processing companies and the card schemes. This investigation is still underway.
Card Re-issues:
Purely as a precaution, Card Issuers may make the decision to reissue new cards to recent CRC customers. If your card is reissued it does not mean that your details have been compromised, but the banks take an ultra cautious view on this as the cost of re-issuing a card is much smaller than resolving any potential issue in the future.[FONT="][/FONT]
When will CRC have more information?
We are working round the clock to get an understanding of what has happened; as we get greater understanding we will continue to keep you up to date and intend to issue further updates over the next week or so.
Can you order safely?
So far the investigation has uncovered no evidence of any breach but if you want to order on CRC without CRC being in contact with your credit card details then choose ‘Pay by PayPal’ and checkout using your credit card via the PayPal express checkout.

Ecco qui, me la sono tirata da solo.....
oggi ho ricevuto una telefonata dal centro sicurezza CartaSI, che mi avvisava del blocco della mia prepagata in quanto ci sono stati due tentativi di utilizzo per 990 euro....
l'avevo usata su CRC il 28 febbraio, pensavo di essermela scampata....
Ordine effettuato da CRC in data 28/02/2011 e pagamento tramite carta PostePay.
Purtroppo mi son accorto nella sola giornata di sabato scorso che in data 10 marzo mi son stati fatti due prelievi di Euro 200 cadauno (totale 400 euro) con destinazione pagamento scommessa su un sito italiano www.macht-point.it di Roma.
Se avete fatto ordini recenti su CRC con carta PostePay svuotate subito la vostra carta ricaricabile...
Nel mio gruppo di amici siamo già in due ad essere stati fregati.

Si anche io ho avuto 2 prelievi da match point, uno da 100 e uno da 200 euro. Tu hai contattato CRC per far presente il problema? Se rimborsano loro l'importo risparmio tutta la trafila tra denuncia ai carabinieri e incartamenti vari alle poste. Ciao e grazie
Questo però mi fa' pensare che la falla sia stata generata in Italia, voi non trovate?
Ovviamente parlo come chi è a digiuno delle dinamiche dei circuiti di pagamento con carta di credito, però il fatto che la frode sia avvenuta su un sito italiano e non inglese oppure europeo...
....non penso proprio che CRC rimborserà il maltolto...già sarebbe una grazie avere dei buoni acquisto del medesimo importo, ma sono pessimista in proposito.
Ho già contattato CRC ma devo ancora avere una risposta.
Sono altresì del parere che cmq ci sia una colpevolezza da parte loro in quanto non sono stati in grado di preservare e garantire la sicurezza dei nostri dati.

vedo che siamo in tanti ad avere avuto lo stesso problema
come già detto a me è andata bene però non voglio assolutamete rimetterci i soldi per l'emissione della nuova carta
