No Canyon chassis covers a wider area of application than our Nerve frame with 140 mm spring deflection, performance, weight and geometry of the frame let the borders between Enduro and All mountain blur. With the Nerve ES/AM series we offer a concept that shines in both categories. A little lighter and equipped with a FOX chassis it is the perfect All mountain bike; with a RockShox Pike fork and the new Monarch damper the Nerve moves towards the Enduro category. By means of the experience of previous years, the design could be regularly extended by useful details. Thus the asymmetric chain stay-yoke connects sufficient tire play with an ultra-stiff bottom bracket section. The Satellite-cable laying provides for completely sealed shift cables as well as an organized view on the entire bike and facilitates the shifting. Like on the Torque, the frame of the Nerve ES/AM is lowered further and is strengthened with a three-dimensional gusset on the connection to the seat tube (as of frame size M). An optimal freedom around the crotch guarantees greatest control even in tricky trail passages. Nerve ES: The combination of RockShox Pike and Monarch damper offers best performance even in blocked terrain. Extremely sensitive steel springs in the fork respond to every pebble and provide sufficient protection from breakdown. per me sarei orientato più suna s per aver una bike più compatta e reattiva più rispondente al "manico" cioè alle caratteristiche tecniche che ognuno ha.......fatti un bel telaio in titanio che ha caratteristiche meccaniche di assorbimento favolose...ciao girl biker

Tu hai una bici molto particolare, in titanio esclusivamente prodotta su misura; la nostra amica non è nel tuo target di prezzo e vuole una AM o quanto meno una trail bike.

Ciao! Io sono passato alla Genius e ti garantisco che le full pedalabili per me non hanno paragoni!! La schiena ringrazia ed in discesa è tutta un'altra musica. Poi dipende come al solito da come vivi la bici, se ami le cometizioni... ma se per te l'importante è pedalare anche ore senza sentire la stanchezza e divertirti senza tenere d'occhio il cronometro( che poi è tutto un dire, se hai le GAMBE!). Saluti!!

Prendi quella Canyon consigliata da Superman nella misura "S"....ho visto le misure ed è cmq "abbondante"....una "M" sarebbe grande....cmq...a con quel montaggio a quel prezzo è un affare....
Considera che SOLO di listino...quell'ammo e quella forca praticamente fanno il prezzo totale della bici.....

Non sai che ti perdi... sono in grado di passare su tutto o quasi cenza quei fastidiosi e dolorosi rimbalzi che le front danno... magari potresti provare la specy epic, che è una via di mezzo: se ti alzi in piedi è dura come una front ma se riceve un colpo, io mi ero interessato a questa... http://www.bike-board.net/community/mtb-market//showproduct.php/product/16791/cat/45 che vedo ce l'hanno ancora... provai quella di un mio amico e mi piacque, solo che vidi la Genius e fu amore al primo sguardo... azz! Come so' romantico con la mi' bimba!! Resta il fatto come già detto che se vuoi stare comoda... FULL!!!

Per mia molgie gli ho preso la Trek 4500 ma più che altro perchè non la usa moltissimo e poi perchè in pratica gli ho messo su tutto XT, Mavic e freni Hayes HFX9. Tutto materiale uscito praticamente nuovo dall'upgrade di una mia biga.
Se vuoi fare uno sforzo economico andrei sulla Composit pro però mi sarebbe utile sapere nel dettaglio i componenti che monta.
Le Trek non sono male e i telai son davvero robusti (ho provato a fare cavolate con quella di mia moglie ma zzzzzzzzz non diteglielo!!!!) è solo che quella "roba" che monta della Bontrager proprio non la digerisco!
Aveva il tubo reggisella e le ruote che alla bilancia erano OBESE! Mentre mettendogli su le Mavic (economiche) e un bel tubo dela RaceFace EvolveXC devo dire che è migliorata.
Gli ho cambiato anche la pipa e il manubrio sempre con RaceFace EvolveXC.

Fammi sapere i componenti che monta. La Trek6500 li so!

la FD monta gruppo xt completo(compreso ruote) ..ma se leggi bene tutta la discussione vedrai che la domanda non è esattamente la scelta fra le due bici...

non mi sembra si tratti di scegliere fra due front..(anche perchè una trek 6500 non è nemmeno paragonabile ad una composite pro FD) bensì alla posizione in sella e al possibile utilizzo AM che crigrillo intende fare...Se si scegliesse fra due front da XC è chiaro che FD sarebbe nettamente superiore!Una in carbonio montata con gruppo xt completo(ruote comprese), l'altra in alluminio con gruppo misto xt -deore....

guardando come sono montate sono ancora + convinto della FD, anche se (ripeto) per l'utilizzo che vuol fare credo non vadano entrambe

Ciao, sono unA poco piu' che principiante anche io, faccio all mountain/freeride leggero pedalando in salita su sterrati facili o asfalto e facendo sentieri in discesa. Ho una decathlon 9.1 taglia M (sono 165, ho dovuto mettere pipa corta) a cui ho cambiato la forka mettendo una manitou splice 100-130 al posto della durissima tora, e per quel che ci faccio per ora mi trovo bene e in salita non bobba per niente.
Se hai piu' budget di me ti direi di buttare un occhio alla sorellona 9.2 .
Per le front invece, sto assemblando una on-one 456 per il mio ragazzo, e' una front da AM/FR che puo' montare forke fino a 150 .... le bici da te citate non le conosco e io con le front nn vado daccordo. Se hai problemi di schiena ti direi come gia' hanno fatto altri di pensare ad una full.

no putroppo no, non ho questa possibilità. la FD è veramente montata bene e mi attira tanto, se però confronto le geometrie di Fd, Treck e Specy rockhopper mi sembra di capire che la posizione dell FD sia quella più allungata, sdraiata. E magari mi ci abituo in un attimo, ma magari no.
D'altro canto penso anche che se faccio circa 4.000 km a stagione con la mia povera Zed K2 e bene o male mi ha portato dappertutto, qualunque bici io scelga lo sentirò un miglioramento o no????
Le full le devo proprio scartare perchè non riesco a famele piacere...sorry!
