rigenerato?? in cosa consite la rigenerazione? sostituzione batterie, o riparazioni??
Da quel che sò io normalmente la parola "refurbished" usata su Ebay o altro tipo di vendita significa rigenerato, rimesso a nuovo.

Refurbishment is the process of maintenance or minor repair of an item, either aesthetically or mechanically.
Computers and laptops that are refurbished usually means that it did not initially pass quality standards of the manufacturer. They then fix or recertify the unit and sell it at a discount price (Up to 30% off). Most of them carry a 30 day store warranty and 90 days with manufacturer.<sup class="noprint Template-Fact"></sup>
Open-box, returned and/or repaired electronics of all kinds are frequently sold as refurbished, almost always with a guarantee of functionality and at a small discount. In pratica prodotti riparati dalla stessa casa produttrice o rientrati da clienti che hanno recesso l'acquisto.
Nulla toglie che funziona benissimo, ma non è da usare come parametro del prezzo interessante poichè non nuovo, tutto li.

ok, grazie, la traduzione del termine era chiara, solo volevo sapere che tipo di intervento rigenerativo potesse subire, ma mi pare sia funzionale che estetico (esempio magari display rotto??) comunque si tratta tutto sommato di ottimi prezzi, in quanto anche l'usato dei privati in genere viaggia su queste cifre... considerando che questo è, appunto, rigenerato, che significa rimesso a nuovo, le condizioni saranno presumibilmente migliori di un usato "normale"......

I prodotti vengono cmq garantiti dalla Garmin, per cui non credo (spero!) che siano tutti difettosi...

Se sei d'accordo potrei suggerirti qualche test da fare per risolvere qualche dubbio sullo strumento, visto che specialmente il caricamento delle tracce sta creando qualche grattacapo, visto che al momento io mi dovrò dedicare ai test sul Colorado...
aggiornamenti: il gingillo mi è arrivato oggi, siamo a 14 giorni secchi dall'asta. ecco la traccia di viaggio, effettuata con usps express mail:

ho pagato dazio (e odiatissima IVA) per 13,71 euro--> myron ha dichiarato merce per 40 $ e spedizioni per 34,75 $ (cosa, tra l'altro, da me non richiesta, inutile dire che ora mi va strabene così). il tasso di cambio che ha applicato la posta per girare i $ in è stato 1,5131.
In tutto ho speso 160 euro.
L'edge mi è arrivato dentro ad una confezione anonimamente bianca, con suscritto il serial number e la dicitura "refurbished". Le varie parti sono imballate e tutte, gps compreso, in condizioni apparentemente di nuovo.
Dopo la consueta carica,tutto sembra funzionare correttamente: i satelliti li prende, il sensore di cadenza si illumina e sembra che io abbia delle pulsazioni cardiache. I tasti funzionano, ed ho già provveduto a togliere l'odioso segnale di digitazione. Ho pure scoperto la retroilluminazione.
quindi fino qui tutto bene, speriam che non mi muoia di morte infantile. In tal caso vi farò sapere.

Non sono d'accordo che mi suggerisci i test da fare... LO DEVI FARE E BASTA!!!! Ok ci dividiamo... io il 705 e te il Colorado e poi avvisami quando lo pubblichi che te lo rendo importante e non commentabile.

Ieri sera ho ritirato la bici con il mio bel Garmin 205 a far bella mostra di sè sulla pipa!

Non ho ancora installato nulla sul pc perchè l'ho ritirato ieri sera e stamattina sono stato preso con i preparativi per la partenza per Montebelluna (GF del Montello) ma...da Lunedì...si inizia a smanettare!!!
