At September 23rd/24th the Red Bull District Ride in Nuremberg, Germany will be the ultimate Urban Freeride Event!
Grande evento organizzato da Tarek Rasouli!
[comunicato stampa] - Last years Ride to the Lake taking place in the old city of Meersburg was a successful event debut for Cory Moore and Tarek Rasouli.
This year the two Freeride Specialists want to go real big. They are planning the next ultimate urban freeride event together with Red Bull. They looked at several locations all over Germany searching for a city, which can be conquered by the international Freeride Pros. Tarek Rasouli and Cory Moore were searching for a beautiful scenery for an urban Freeride Contest in good old Germany. So they wanted Old Castle walls, ramparts and Draw bridges as well as half-timbered buildings.
Nuremberg, the city of gingerbread and bratwurst (sausages) is the final location. Nuremberg is with 500,000 citizens definitely a world famous city and with their huge Christkindl Market they attract every year millions of visitors from all over the world.
The Kaiserburg - the landmark of Nuremberg, which the Emperor Barbarossa chose as residence in the mediaeval times - will be the start of the Urban Freeride Contests.
When Cory peaked over the castle wall on top of Nuremberg, he knew: Thats it! This place is fantastic. Here we got the road gap down the castle wall. About 10 Meters (30ft) down and 8 Meters (25ft) out. Sick!
After convincing the city, the real planning for the Red Bull District Ride began.
