Presentazione Berg Cycles Viper elite DH
(Comunicato stampa) - Building upon the success enjoyed with the sponsorship of the Circuito Downtown, the National Portuguese Downtown race series and the personal sponsorship of the Portuguese Elite rider Marco Fidalgo in 2006, Sportzone / Berg will be expanding its range of Downhill and Freeride models in 2007/08.
The wraps officially came off the 2008 BERG VIPER ELITE at an end of year party jointly hosted by Berg Cycles, Sportzone, Bike Magazine & Marco Fidalgo prior to the Portuguese premier of New World Disorder 7 at the Forum Café, Castanheira de Pêra, Portugal.
The VIPER DH was developed by Berg Cycles together with the Portuguese Elite rider Marco Fidalgo, this cooperative venture has benefited from the best technical and industrial know-how that is currently on offer.
This exciting new project encapsulates Sportzone's maxim of Tudo para o desporto incluindo a emoção or
everything for the sport including the emotion together with a dynamism that distinguishes Sportzone and Berg Cycles as brands engaged in a quest for excellence, increased competitiveness and technological innovation.
For 2008 there will be two new Downhill and Freeride models the VIPER ELITE which will be sold as a complete bike or as a frame kit package and the VIPER 1 which will only be available as a complete bike.
A limited amount of these models will be available to purchase from June 2007 prior to their full release in 2008, 10 VIPER ELITE complete bikes, 40 VIPER ELITE frame kits and 50 - VIPER 1complete bikes.
With the final specification, prices and colour-ways as yet to be officially confirmed when going to press it is anticipated that 2007 pre-release bike line up will be as follows:
