Freefall ~ Winter Mountain bike Downhill race off the Matterhorn, down to Zermatt, with 2’222 meters of vertical!

A mountain bike race of superlatives:
• From 3’800 to 1’600 meters above sea level in under 20 minutes
• From the ice world of the Matterhorn glacier paradice to the world famous car-free resort of Zermatt
What?
• Conquer Switzerland’s longest ski run on a mountain bike, in head to head competition with other top downhillers.
When?
• Race day on December 10th in Zermatt (Training on December 9th)
How?
• Le Mans style mass start. Everyone against everyone.
• The first half of the course is long and wide; narrow, steep and full of curves follows in the second half.
What do I need to know?
• On the morning of Saturday, December 9th is the official training run, down the entire course on bikes. It is also possible to view the course during the day on either skis or snowbord.
Any special offers?
•Yes, the race plus a two day ski weekend for 146.- CHF (two day Ski pass, Training, Race)
(single day Ski pass, Training, Race 124.- CHF. -- Only Training + Race 95.- CHF).
Dress warmly!
It can be a tad nippy at almost 4’000 meters in the beginning of December…
