Dovrei montare una guarnitura White Industries ENO su una scatola mc da 73 (Yeti ARC).
Come determinare la lunghezza del perno mc?

di norma è il produttore della guarnitura che deve dare le dimensioni.
la teoria è "perno più corto possibile"...ma vai a sapere se poi tocca sui foderi.

che misure usa WHITE?

120 mm --> questa è la seconda misura che fornisce White, sicuramente va bene, io la monto sulla mia LosLobos Cycles da ciclocross
Puoi tentare di provare il 170mm o appena sopra, ma dubito che vadano

Un vecchio accorgimento per usare perni più corti è limare ancolarmente la fina interna delle pedivelle parallemente ai posteriori orizzontali
Così riesci a guadagnare sicuramente 2-3 millimetri per parte

le misure white sono 121 e 113
se è JIS credo possa usare movimenti Campy..e cercare una misura intermedia. (117?)

Trovato:

Bottom bracket: The ENO crank is designed with an extremely low Q factor: 160mm ENO; 142mm for VBC. With a 68mm BB shell we recommend a 113mm square tapered bottom bracket, however, some frames have wider chainstays and need a longer BB. By simply taking a few measurements on your frame you can determine a suitable BB spindle length for your frame. First measure from the center of the BB shell back along the chainstay 180mm. At that point, measure across the stays. Your measurement should be from the outside of the stay to the opposing outside stay. If the measurement is 135mm or less, use a 113mm BB. If your measurement is higher than 135mm, then add the difference to the base 113mm to determine you BB length. For instance, if the chainstay measurement is 140mm then the BB length would be 118mm.

metterò il telaio nudo di guarnitura e cambio sul banco, prendo bolla e squadra e faccio un paio di misure, giusto per farle il più "dritte" possibile.
Andare da parte a parte dei foderi con il calibro senza un riferimento, 5 mm te li mangi a merenda, imho.
