Cedric retains his Snow King crown
In the second Siemens mobile Snow King of the season in Kvitfjell, Norway, yesterday Cedric Gracia again claimed victory in the unique downhill mountain bike race on snow.
Twelve of the best and bravest downhill mountainbikers in the world competed down the FIS World Cup Super G piste reaching a top speed on the snow of 123.8 km.
Cedric opted for the Super G line which proved the fastest route down the piste as he cleared the finish line two seconds ahead of another race favorite, the Finn Matti Lehikoinen. Just under four seconds later the UKs George Atherton crossed the line to claim the final place on the podium.
Cedric has proved to be the true Snow King after scooping victory in the first race of the season in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany on 1st February 2004.
