Chiedete di Gianluca Pezzi. Gianluca e' un vero MECCANICO coi fiocchi: la sua abilita' tecnica e' inversamente proporzionale alla sua parlantina, visto che per lui quando una frase ha piu' di una parola allora c'e' qualcosa di troppo.
Le sue bici pero' sono PERFETTE: e' un vero maniaco e contemporaneamente un mago delle ruote.
Usa personalmente una EMD e vi garantisco che farlo scendere dalla sua Element non e' stato uno scherzo, ma ora che ha provato una 29er come si deve credo che molto difficilmente tornera' indietro.
E' molto bravo anche sulle forcelle ed in particolare è un ottimo 'idraulico', quindi se proverete una Niner da lui avrete la fortuna di poter avere una Maverick con una messa a punto impeccabile.

Ringrazio tutti quelli che si sono presentati con la curiosità di provare una mountain BIG WHEEL, dello scambio di impressioni e di esperienze.

Volevo ringraziare Gianluca per avermi settato e preparato una EMD 9 perfetta per la prova e anche Crested B per aver messo in moto questa operazione per far testare le '29.
La bici è stata perfetta, la Maverick "mordida" come piace a Gianluca, le sensazioni non sono state positivissime ma il problema è che il tester non pedalava front da 6/7 anni.

Giusto ieri ne ho potuta provare una anch'io, ho fatto uno dei miei soliti percorsi per testare le differenze con la mia 26" e devo dire che a parte l'impatto dei ruotoni (ci si deve abituare), sono stato piacevolmente sorpreso su come si districava bene sul veloce, dove sassi, radici e piccoli avvalli che con la 26" rappresentavano un ostacolo, la Niner è riuscita a superarli con semplicità.
Anche la mia solita salita che mi richiede un buon equilibrio (sia per stabilità laterale che per cappottamento) è riuscita a farmela superare in modo egregio...Unico rammarico non essere riuscito a provarla (...accidenti alle spine che mi hanno fatto forare) sul single track.
